FOI – 2024-000413 Gamma Cameras GGC (HTML)
Date received – 06 December 2024 | Date responded – 23 December 2024
Request
Dear Sir/Madam
I have requested the information below from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde under the Freedom of Information act, who have responded with the information to questions 1 & 2, however they have asked me to contact you directly for the remainder of the information, questions 3 & 4 as the gamma cameras/SPECT CT cameras are part of a nationally hosted contract and they do not have all the requested information.
- The manufacturer & model name of each gamma camera (Nuclear Medicine imaging system) & SPECT/CT system installed in or owned/managed by your Trust
- The hospital name where each system is installed
- The date that the current service/maintenance contract
- The date that the current service/maintenance contract on each device started (if there is a multi-year contract, please provide the date the multi-year contract started)
Response
I refer to your freedom of information request that we received on 06 December 2024 requesting the following information.
We have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information in response to points 3 and 4:
The date that the current service/maintenance contract on each device started (if there is a multi-year contract, please provide the date the multi-year contract started)
The date that the current service/maintenance contract on each system expires (if a there is a multi-year contract, please provide the date the multi-year contract will end)
Please find attached Appendix 1 – Gamma Cameras NHS GGC updated list, this has been amended to include the maintenance contract start and end date.
Under section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 (FOISA) an organisation does not have to provide that information if it does not hold it. Where there is no contract in place, this has been highlighted. Where there are blank cells within the appendix, this is because NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) does not hold any information relating to that service or maintenance contact.
I trust you will find the information of assistance and if you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us. If you are unhappy with any aspect of how we have dealt with your request, you can make representations to us asking us to review the handling of your request. If you require any further information, please contact the Associate Director Governance and Board Services (Board Secretary) within 40 working days of the date of this correspondence.
