Medical Device Alerts and product recalls

All suppliers and manufacturers are required by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to submit Field Safety Notices (FSNs) informing National Procurement of Medical Device Alerts or product recalls.

Field Safety Notices contain important safety information about medical devices. They include guidance on how to reduce or remove the risks from affected devices.

National Procurement forward FSNs to NHS Scotland Health Boards for action.
