Claim for providing palliative care

GP practices can claim payment for, and provide an annual declaration in respect of Palliative and End of Life Care in accordance with NHS Circular: PCA(M)(2019)06 – The Primary Medical Services Directed Enhanced Services (Scotland) 2019 Palliative Care Scheme.

Guidance and claim form

To be eligible to participate in this Directed Enhanced Service (DES), practices must have one or more palliative care patients on their registered list who've consented to the use of the Key Information Summary (KIS).
