Section VIII – Domiciliary Visit and Recalled Attendance
8- Domiciliary Visit and Recalled Attendance
- This fee is claimable for each separate attendance at each location.
- If more than one patient is seen in a single attendance to a location, such as may be the case at a care or nursing home, only one claim can be made under item 8-.
- The distance travelled does not impact the fee claimable. There is a single fee claimable for each attendance, regardless of distance travelled.
- The enhanced Domiciliary Clinical Examination fee has been removed, but the Enhanced Skills in Domiciliary Care Allowance (Determination XVI, Part 1) remains and has been updated.
Section X - Additional Payments
10-(b) Additional Support Needs Capitation Payment
Item 10-(b) of the new SDR refers to patients in a capitation arrangement who have 'additional support needs'. This refers to people with disabilities and/or neurodiverse issues. This does not cover the need for a translator.
