Continuing Professional Development Allowance (GP 214) and Continuing Professional Development Allowance for Enhanced Domiciliary Care Allowance (GP 214 - ESD)

The CPD Allowance is available to dentists providing General Dental Services (GDS) in Scotland who attend approved courses. This allowance supports ongoing professional development and enhanced practitioner training. Eligibility Criteria is defined in the SDR under Determination VII.

The Continuing Professional Development Dental form (GP214) is available here, and the Enhanced Skills in Domiciliary Care Continuing Professional Development form (GP214 ESD) is available here.

Each of the form is a fillable PDF form and should be completed on a PC or laptop before being submitted digitally via email

Please note that paper submissions will not be accepted. All completed forms must be submitted in PDF format via a personal or practice NHS email address to NSS.psd-dental-payments@nhs.scot, with the subject line including “CPDA-" with your individual List Number.
